NRP 62 pursues the following goals:
- To develop new intelligent materials and combinations of such with new functions;
- To establish their application potential for various sectors of industry;
- To serve as a model for future cooperation between SNSF and CTI.
There is particular emphasis on developing applications for sustainably meeting on-going societal needs for energy, mobility and environment, engineering and functional materials, health and, naturally, safety and security.
